Job Title: Environmental Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Manager with expertise in environmental remediation services to lead and manage projects ranging from $20,000 to $1,000,000.
The role involves overseeing 2-3 projects simultaneously, focusing on the remediation of government facilities, restoration and monitoring of groundwater remediation sites, and asbestos, mold, and lead abatement operations.
Responsibilities
Bid and manage environmental remediation projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous waste remediation.
Oversee the remediation of government facilities and restoration and monitoring of groundwater sites.
Collaborate with environmental engineers and regulatory agencies.
Prepare estimation and bid proposals.
Manage change orders and RFIs.
Essential Skills
Project management
Environmental compliance and regulations
Remediation and site assessment
Industrial hygiene
Environmental management and monitoring
Experience with heavy equipment
Understanding of environmental construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of experience in estimating or managing small-scale projects
Experience in groundwater and hazardous waste remediation
Permitting and waste disposal knowledge
Experience with asbestos abatement
Certifications such as Asbestos Abatement Supervision, Lead Renovation & Abatement, Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER), OSHA 30, NYS Mold Assessor, NYS Asbestos Inspector, NYS Project Monitor, NYS Air Technician, and NYS Project Designer
Work Environment
- This position involves both office and field work, requiring adaptability to various working conditions and environments.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
