Adecco US, Inc. CNC Machine Operator in Syracuse, New York
Adecco is recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator for a client in Syracuse, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $19-23/hour.
This is a great opportunity for machinists looking to work in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment producing precision components for advanced technology applications.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers to produce precision components
Load raw materials and monitor CNC machine operations during production runs
Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
Perform first-piece inspections and follow quality control procedures
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications to verify part dimensions and tolerances
Identify machining issues such as worn tooling, damaged cutters, or out-of-tolerance parts
Make basic machine adjustments to maintain proper tolerances and quality standards
Deburr, clean, and finish machined parts as needed
Maintain CNC machines, tooling, and work area in a safe and organized condition
Track and report usage of tooling, materials, and supplies
Follow manufacturing procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1+ year CNC machining or manufacturing experience OR technical school training with related experience
Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers
Ability to use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints (GD&T knowledge a plus)
Familiarity with G-code programming preferred
CNC programming experience is a plus

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
