Cognizant Senior UiPath Developer in Sydney,NS-Level37 TowerTwo, Australia
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior UiPath Developer to design, build, and deliver scalable automation solutions within a dynamic enterprise environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work hands‑on with the UiPath platform—partnering closely with product, business, and delivery teams to turn automation requirements into robust, production‑ready workflows.
You will guide technical solutioning, support development and testing activities, and ensure best‑practice automation standards are upheld throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand automation needs and translate them into clear solution designs.
• Design and build complex UiPath workflows using Studio, Orchestrator, and modern UiPath services.
• Create technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and reusable automation components.
• Lead refinement discussions to break down automation requirements and estimate development effort.
• Integrate UiPath automations with enterprise systems including APIs, databases, SAP, mainframe, and document understanding workflows.
• Contribute to discovery activities to assess automation feasibility, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Support QA and UAT processes by validating workflow behaviour and resolving defects during test cycles.
• Ensure all automations follow established SDLC, governance, and coding standards.
• Partner with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to provide progress updates and technical insights during Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the uplift of automation capability across the team.
• Support production deployment, triage, and optimisation of live workflows.
Skills & Experience
• Extensive experience with UiPath development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency with UiPath Studio (Modern Experience) and Orchestrator (Queues, Assets, Triggers, Packages).
• Experience delivering attended, unattended, and long‑running workflows using REFramework or custom frameworks.
• Strong understanding of automation solution design, error handling, logging, and performance optimisation.
• Experience integrating automations with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, SAP, Outlook, SharePoint, and file‑based systems.
• Knowledge of Document Understanding, AI Center, or other intelligent automation components is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, QA, business SMEs, and product teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
