The Opportunity:

The ANZ business Unit – part of Cognizant APJ – is one of the strongest growing regions in APAC. As part of these growth plans, we are looking for a dynamic Client Partner to manage and grow exponentially a significant part of its portfolio in the Retail space.

Responsibilities:

· Purpose of the role: The Client Partner role is responsible for the overall strategy, planning and growth of a portfolio of CMT accounts in in Australia. The role requires significant thought leadership and strong external client and partner relationships to win new business and grow our strategic accounts. Works closely with capability led Service Lines to close strategic opportunities and to meet revenue, TCV and margin targets

· Growth: Client Partner will be accountable for the business growth of the portfolio. The CP will generate leads (both large and small) and aggressively pursue them to closure

· Large Deals: Bring experience of originating and prosecuting Large deals across the CMT portfolio to drive growth

· C-level Relationships: Build/leverage relationships with CEOs and CxOs to help acquire & grow business in large accounts/portfolios. Will be responsible for high-level relationship management with clients and serve as the primary management contact and client liaison.

· Vision and Strategy: Help create a Vision for the CMT portfolio. Develop a strategy for selected accounts and create a blueprint for increased mindshare and wallet share in respective market segment/portfolios

· Customer Satisfaction: Will be responsible for strategic planning for the portfolio and driving customer satisfaction across all accounts

· Operational Hygiene: Actively participate in business planning / budgeting exercises, operating hygiene & provide a view to senior management on the ongoing execution of growth plans for our most strategic APJ clients

· Pipeline Management: Actively manage your portfolio pipeline of deals & ensure healthy, profitable deals in pipeline. Ensure a strong velocity of deals through our CMT pipeline

· Leadership: Recruit & Manage a team of account managers & coach them to facilitate development & successful implementation of account CMT / growth strategies

· Marketing and Branding: Represent Cognizant in Industry forums, at conferences/speaker/panel sessions, and ensure we are constantly driving a strong POV into market and with our partners that help differentiate Cognizant with our clients

· Financial Management: Ensure strong P&L management of the CMT portfolio for Revenue, TCV and Operating Margin

Mandatory Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience

· Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of selling of IT & Consulting services into strategic accounts

· Business Development: Seasoned business development professional with trail blazing track record in acquiring new businesses. Proven track record of winning large deals & winning new logos

· Industry Experience: Thorough domain knowledge with awareness / expertise in latest digital innovations in the industry / domain of CMT

· Client (C-level) Relationships: Possess an interest and passion towards engaging senior level executives in transformation solutions through consultative approach.

· Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and the confidence and ability to plan ahead and stay the course

· Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills & ability to make deals happen

· Strong Networker: Must be able to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence

· Outstanding Communication Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to communicate strong stories and deliver impactful presentations

· Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams. Should be a team person and able to lead different teams to a common goal.
