Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist to help shape how leading brands show up across culture, platforms and customer journeys. This is a role for someone who loves connecting big creative ideas to real‑world impact — across social, owned, paid, influencer and emerging experiences.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Content Strategist, you’ll lead the development of connected content strategies that bridge brand, culture and performance. You’ll work closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, Influencer and Client teams to ensure content is cohesive, scalable and commercially effective.

You’ll:

  • Lead integrated content strategies aligned to brand, audience and business goals

  • Design content ecosystems across owned, social, paid and influencer channels (with a strong social-first lens)

  • Translate big creative ideas into connected content systems across the full customer journey

  • Build content frameworks, architectures and storytelling territories that guide execution at scale

  • Ensure content is platform‑native, insight‑led and designed to perform

  • Shape brand narratives that are culturally relevant and distinctive

  • Partner with Media and Performance teams to align content with distribution, testing and optimisation

  • Use performance data and insights to inform optimisation and strategic recommendations

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, lifting craft, thinking and output quality

  • Present confidently to senior clients and act as a trusted content advisor

  • Stay curious about emerging trends, including AI‑driven and agentic content experiences

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to tick every box — we’re more interested in your thinking, curiosity and potential.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in content strategy, social strategy or integrated digital strategy (agency experience preferred)

  • Proven experience building content strategies across owned, social, paid and influencer channels

  • Strong ability to translate brand strategy and creative ideas into scalable content systems

  • A deep understanding of platforms, behaviours and cross‑channel storytelling

  • Working knowledge of SEO and how content supports discoverability

  • Confidence in performance storytelling, optimisation and measurement frameworks

  • Experience using analytics and listening tools (e.g. GA4, Sprout, Meta, Netbase Quid)

  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members

  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working across disciplines
