Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst who’s excited to build and shape next‑generation commercial intelligence, not just run reports. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy, data, automation and AI‑enabled insights.

Reporting into the Head of Commercial, you’ll help lift PMX’s commercial intelligence maturity by designing scalable dashboards, streamlining data flows and turning complex data into clear, trusted insights that leaders rely on. You’ll work closely with Commercial, Finance, GMS and Data Intelligence teams, with real visibility and influence across the business.

If you’re motivated by outcomes, enjoy solving ambiguous problems and want your work to directly impact revenue growth and smarter decision‑making, this role is for you.

What you will do

As Senior Commercial Analyst, you will:

  • Own and evolve PMX’s commercial reporting ecosystem across ANZ, including Power BI and other BI platforms

  • Redesign reporting and data models to operate in an automation‑first, AI‑enabled environment

  • Integrate multiple commercial, trading, digital and vendor data sources into scalable, centralised models

  • Reduce manual processing through automation, improved data pipelines and smarter workflows

  • Maintain and develop a suite of commercial dashboards used by senior stakeholders

  • Champion data quality, governance and best‑practice modelling standards

  • Generate meaningful commercial insights across media, trading, partnerships and product performance

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, optimisation, cost efficiencies and improved partner value

  • Support the GMS with benchmarking, investment diagnostics and forecasting insights

  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities before they become issues

  • Partner cross‑functionally with Commercial, Finance, GMS, Product, APEX and Precision teams

  • Turn insight into action by challenging assumptions and elevating commercial conversations

This is a build‑and‑shape role, with the opportunity to influence how commercial intelligence is delivered across the PMX and Publicis Groupe ANZ ecosystem.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, commercial acumen and strong technical capability. You’ll likely have:

  • Experience enhancing, rebuilding or modernising reporting and analytics environments

  • Proven ability to generate insights for commercial, trading, digital or performance teams

  • Strong experience building and owning dashboards end‑to‑end (Power BI experience highly valued)

  • Confidence working with multiple data sources and complex data sets

  • Exposure to automation, data integration or AI‑supported reporting approaches

  • A strong understanding of commercial metrics and how they drive business outcomes

  • Experience in media, digital, performance or measurement environments (or closely related industries)

  • Knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand media landscape (highly regarded)

  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset

  • The ability to communicate complex insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders

  • A collaborative, proactive approach and comfort working in evolving environments

We value diverse backgrounds, ways of thinking and experiences. If you don’t tick every single box but feel excited by the role and confident you can make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
