PMX (Publicis Media Exchange) is the central investment practice for Publicis Media. We’re responsible for the smart application of investment by leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships, and intelligence.

Overview

The transformation you will experience:

The Operations Director will drive operational excellence across business operations of PMX in order to assist the PMX team achieve it's strategic initiatives and organisational objectives.

This role will ensure PMX priorities, initiatives, and informed-choices land consistently and at pace across the business by translating influence intent into executable plans and driving delivery across products, capabilities, partners, and regions.

Your scope will include:

· Own and continuously improve the operational infrastructure that underpins PMX, ensuring the business is set up to scale sustainably and efficiently.

· Ensure the right systems, tools, resources, and governance models are in place to assist both current operations and future growth.

· Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or risks and head initiatives to resolve them proactively.

· Act as the central point of accountability for operational informed-choice making and execution across PMX.

· Assist the ELT with the operating cadence and orchestration of the divisional OKRs.

· Oversee PMX engagement initiatives for Media, Agencies, and Clients to strengthen relationships and enhance collaboration

· Provide structure, clarity, and ownership in areas where accountability currently spans multiple teams or stakeholders.

· Spearhead coordination across PMX, Media, Agencies, and external partners to ensure initiatives land consistently and at pace.

· Act as a unifier and problem solver, resolving friction points and enabling effective collaboration across the ecosystem

· Influence the end to end Strategic Media Partnership program, including quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and ongoing coordination.

· Ensure consistency, quality control, and governance across all partner briefings and engagements.

· Act as the operational steward of partner relationships, ensuring PMX extracts maximum value while maintaining strong, recommended partnerships

· Spearhead the creation and management of the PMX PR program, both internally and externally.

· Ensure PMX initiatives, successes, and innovations are clearly communicated and well positioned across the business and marketplace.

· Partner with leadership, marketing, and communications teams to elevate PMX’s profile and impact

What type of person will be successful in this role:

· Media agency experience preferred

· Strong operational and organisational influence experience, ideally in a busy or multi-stakeholder environment.

· Aptitude to translate business strategy into executable operational plans.

· Strong knowledge of operating models, resource planning, and team capacity mapping.

· Demonstrated aptitude to build and optimise processes, systems, and frameworks that enable efficiency and scalability.

· Proven track record in continuous improvement, operational governance, and overseeing business-critical workflows.

· Strong project management capability, including planning, implementation, and stakeholder communication.

· Exceptional communication experience with the aptitude to influence, engage, and build reliance across a diverse stakeholder base
