SummaryAs a Junior MDM Data Engineer at Avanade, you’ll design and deliver enterprise Master Data Management solutions on the Microsoft data platform, creating trusted, governed master data for analytics and AI. You’ll work hands‑on with MDM platforms integrated with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric, partnering with architects, analysts, and business data owners to improve data quality, lineage, and consistency across core data domains.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure consistent and trusted master dataDevelop and manage data ingestion, matching, merging, and survivorship rules across master data domainsIntegrate MDM platforms with source and downstream systems to enable accurate data synchronisationImplement data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling processesCollaborate with data architects, business analysts, and data stewards to translate requirements into MDM solutionsSupport data governance initiatives including metadata management, lineage, and auditabilityConfigure and optimise MDM workflows, hierarchies, and reference data managementMonitor and resolve data issues related to master data accuracy, completeness, and timelinessSupport testing, deployment, and release of MDM solutions across environments
