POSITION SUMMARY
As Front Office Supervisor – Nights , you’ll support the Night Manager in overseeing the hotel’s overnight operations. You’ll ensure guest arrivals and departures are handled smoothly, accounts are balanced, and service standards are upheld. From managing security protocols to assisting with audit tasks, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the integrity and excellence of our front office team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Night Manager in balancing daily transactions across all outlets
Provide efficient, professional service for guest check-ins and check-outs
Maintain accurate guest accounts and ensure all postings are correct
Uphold strict security procedures to protect guest confidentiality and safety
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Monitor and report safety hazards or system issues
Ensure wake-up calls, mail, messages, and parcels are processed accurately
Liaise with Housekeeping regarding room status and lost property
Complete audit tasks and ensure accurate cashiering balances
Maintain and secure express checkout envelopes and safety deposit boxes
Support valet parking and assist guests with luggage if required
Lead by example in delivering Total Customer Satisfaction
Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication between shifts
Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings
Promote hotel services and actively upsell special offers
Maintain grooming, conduct, and performance standards
Maintain confidentiality of guest and staff information
Induct and support new team members, ensuring brand standards are upheld
Use guest feedback to improve service delivery and team performance
About You
Previous experience in front office or night audit roles
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
Detail-oriented with a passion for guest service
Familiarity with hotel systems and audit procedures
NSW RSA certification and full working rights in Australia
Flexible availability including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
