Hyatt Director of Rooms in SYDNEY, Australia

This individual will lead by example, fostering a high-performing team culture and elevating service standards across Hyatt Regency Sydney. A visible leadership style, with a consistent presence on the floor, will be key to supporting teams and driving operational excellence.

As Director of Rooms, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the entire Rooms Division, including Front Office, Group Operations, Housekeeping, Concierge, Bell Desk and the Regency Club Lounge.

Main Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of personalised, brand-aligned guest experiences across all departments, partnering closely with department leaders to drive operational efficiency and consistency

•Oversee and influence financial performance, including cost control and revenue optimisation

•Develop, coach and mentor departmental leaders to build capability and succession

•Foster a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement across the division

To be successful in this role, you will have;

• Previous experience in a large 5 star hotel.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Previous experience leading and developing a large team.

• Proven ability to improve and maintain Guest Satisfaction Scores.

• Proven ability to respond to emergency and crisis situations.

Full Working rights for Australia along with a Police check are required.
