Position Overview

Responsibilities:
Field Maintenance – Clearing the Research field of all weeds and invasive plants
Hand weeding research plots
Install and remove pollination tents and bags
Measuring and recording data from canola plants
Hand sickling research plots
Hand harvesting canola plants
Other duties as required.
8-hour workday
45 Min Lunch – Lunch area will be provided by our client
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from the Swift Current, SK site
Two pairs of clean shoes to avoid bringing contaminants on site
The ability to work in hot and windy conditions
A good work ethic
The ability to commit for the full six weeks to 8 weeks of work
As this is a seasonal position and transportation is provided, Kelly requires persons who are reliable and can work outdoors in varying weather conditions including the wind and heat.
This is a great position for someone who loves working outdoors in the sun and is looking to pick up some extra work over the summer without the long-term commitment.
