Philips Senior Product Manager Performance Segment in Suzhou, China

The Senior Product Manager is accountable for defining and driving the end‑to‑end 1.5T Coil portfolio strategy, execution, and lifecycle management, leveraging deep customer insights and market analysis to deliver commercial success and achieve strategic objectives, operating with limited supervision. The role owns the definition and execution of product, software, service, and lifecycle roadmaps aligned with portfolio and marketing strategies, ensuring optimal performance‑cost balance, quality, and timely delivery. The Senior Product Manager continuously optimizes portfolio strategy to enhance profitability and market penetration through close collaboration with regional teams, ensures full compliance with PDLM guidelines, and drives strong alignment with Product Marketing and regional stakeholders to enable effective go‑to‑market execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Owns end ‑to ‑end (E2E) lifecycle management of the 1.5T Coil portfolio , ensuring alignment with business strategy, market needs, and future portfolio evolution. Reviews and finalizes value propositions and business cases to clearly articulate customer value, support investment decisions, and enable effective governance.

  • Defines and drives the 1.5T Coil portfolio and product roadmap , managing the full product development lifecycle from concept through launch using PDLM frameworks. Ensures customer and user needs are met while balancing quality, cost, performance, delivery timelines, and financial viability.

  • Leads the development and execution of the Value Proposition & Claims (VPC) roadmap , collaborating cross‑functionally to prioritize validated clinical, economic, and technical claims in line with market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics. Continuously optimizes strategy using customer insights, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.

  • Accountable for business case development and value realization , including commercial performance, installed base growth, and technical simplicity. Drives claims ambition, roadmaps, and execution plans in close partnership with key internal stakeholders.

  • Builds and manages relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to inform and strengthen product strategy. Drives engagement through advisory boards, collaborations, and educational initiatives to enhance product credibility, market influence, and thought leadership, while tracking impact on adoption and positioning.

  • Supports global and regional product launch execution , partnering with Product Marketing, Downstream Marketing, and Regional Marketing teams to enable effective go‑to‑market strategies and coordinated market entry.

  • Guides and drives new product development across the full lifecycle , from ideation and development to release, lifecycle optimization, and phase‑out. Works closely with Innovation, R&D, Design, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Marketing, Communications, and International Sales to ensure optimal performance, pricing, and market fit.

  • Acts as a subject ‑matter expert for regional marketing and sales teams , providing deep product, market, and competitive insights, along with strategic guidance, training, and tools to support commercial success.

  • Continuously monitors market trends, competitive landscape, and segment technologies , ensuring the portfolio meets evolving customer needs. Develops and maintains robust customer segmentation requirements, supported by Market Intelligence and global market insights. Minimum required Education: Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Radiology, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent. Minimum required Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 5 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Product Management, Project Management, Marketing or equivalent. Preferred Experience: Radiology, Healthcare, Medical Device Industry Preferred Skills:
