BorgWarner Inc. Senior Power Switch Engineer in Suzhou, China
Major Accountabilities:
Responsible for automative SiC/IGBT Power Switch (Module) structural design including but not limited to substrate design, Lead-frame design, package (overmolding) design, electrical insulation design, Responsible for early stage of Power Switch (Module) process development including but not limited to Die Attach (Soldering, Sintering…) process, overmolding process, laser welding process, Responsible for materials selection, supplier connection, cross-departmental collaboration related (Purchasing Team, Inverter Team…) Collaborate with teams in mechanical/stress simulation to ensure that performance on the design path complies with theoretical targets, Collaborate with teams in development and optimization of new products with well ability cross-function collaboration, Collaborate with teams in evaluation of advance technologies in packaging and chip development.
Major Qualifications:
Master's degree or above, majoring in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or Materials Engineering, etc., Candidates with 5 years or more experience in automative SiC/IGBT Power Switch (Module) application (Dual side cooling modules...), Familiar with structural interaction design of Power Switch (Module) in inverter, layout design inside of package, key material characteristics, key process characteristics and technological development trends will be priority, Familiar with common process / process characteristics of automative Power Switch (Module), soldering process, overmolding process, laser welding process will be priority, Familiar with 3D mechanical design software, Basical understanding in common methods of failure analysis, materials characteristic, warpage analysis, Basical understanding in simulation software (Ansys, etc.) or other mainstream simulation tools, Well English skills in written and oral communication.
