API Heat Transfer Quality Manager in Suzhou, China

Job Scope:

Work closely with all relevant departments to drive the site's customer quality satisfaction and manufacturing process quality management effectiveness. Establish a robust performance monitoring and review mechanism to drive continuous improvement and ensure the system's long-term adaptability and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish an effective quality process standard work to improve product quality and drive quality performance of customers and production processes according to defined indicators.

  2. Drive enterprise-wide quality excellence and built-in quality across core processes, including not limited key processes such as NPI, customer management, supply base governance, and manufacturing operations

  3. Lead the top customers’ vital few qualities problem - solving process, and oversee the customer quality process for the rest out of the vital few

  4. The gatekeeper of the process, to ensure the effectiveness of the quality control process during the introduction of new products or new parts and new suppliers

  5. Establish, standardize, and continuously optimize core quality processes to ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and drive systematic prevention of defects across the product lifecycle.

  6. Manage the end-to-end customer complaint process from initial receipt through investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action, ensuring timely resolution and implementing measures to prevent recurrence and enhance customer satisfaction.

  7. Develop a robust quality culture and capability building programs, including the design and delivery of training, to ensure organizational competence and sustained adherence to quality standards and processes.

  8. Other duties as assigned.

    Skills/Competencies:

  9. Proven leadership in establishing, maintaining, and auditing robust Quality Management Systems compliant with international standards.

  10. Proficient knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a preference for expertise in heat exchange production techniques (e.g., brazing, welding), as well as raw materials and production equipment.

  11. Strong decision-making ability, skilled in process mapping, risk analysis, and data-driven problem-solving to address complex business challenges with sound judgment.

  12. Excellent verbal and written skills in English required, including the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly.

  13. Lean manufacturing capabilities, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus, continuous improvement project experience.

Education and Experience:

  1. Over 5+ years of quality managers in MNC with proved out quality leadership, typically customer quality satisfaction area.

  2. Strong Logical Thinking ability and learning ability.

  3. Result driven.

  4. Able to travel or visit customers site as appropriate
