Job Overview
Manages the day-to-day operations and long term planning for manufacturing functions, including manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, purchasing and shipping/receiving activities.
Job Requirements
Leading staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.
Driving the execution of operations activities, ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
Defining departmental goals; coordinating strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for multiple and distributed facilities.
Accountable for overall operations performance and implementing production, cost, and quality control mechanisms.
What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
