We have an outstanding Contract position for anElectrical Assemblerto join a leading Company located in Suwanee, GA.
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00
Electrical Assembler I performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations of a skilled nature to build and assemble complex units such as power supplies, printed circuit boards, modules, cable harnesses, and electronic and mechanical systems and assemblies.
Responsibilities :
Assembly operations include wiring, component installations, and hand soldering of connectors
Assemble Microwave RF systems and circuits
Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles, tests units, and corrects malfunctions as required
Reads and interprets electrical cabling drawings
Produces parts to the original drawing or incorporates engineering changes
Assembles and installs various electrical or electronic components where operation and sequence are specified by schematics, blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, or established operations practices
Uses a wide variety of specialized hand tools such as solder irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Minimum 2 years of related Electrical Assembly experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proper dressing of cables and wires to accept connectors or other interface devices
Attach connector components to wires by crimping and soldering methods
The use of electronics assembly tools, wiring, and electrical assembly tools
As a skilled assembler, complete tasks utilizing effective and efficient methods
Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Work with minimum supervision and recommend process or product improvements
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
