Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be assigned to a department based on your skillset, which may include wood cut, wood assembly, material handling, corrugated, pulp, dock work, foam assembly, and foam cutting. You will contribute to creating various types of crates and packaging for different industries, utilizing hand and power tools for production and assembly.
Responsibilities
Adhere to company safety and quality policies at all times.
Follow established ISO work instructions as applicable.
Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified equipment within the allotted time.
Oversee materials to minimize scrap and waste.
Process scrap material for recycling.
Maintain work area and equipment according to established 5S standards.
Operate equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines.
Report safety and quality issues along with any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Participate in cross-training initiatives to support business goals and objectives.

Work Environment
The environment is very clean, well-maintained, and temperature-controlled. While it can be a bit loud, there are no unpleasant smells. Available shifts are 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
