Job Title: HVAC Installers/Technicians Needed, Start ASAP!

Job Description

This role offers a long-term opportunity to grow from an entry-level HVAC installation technician into a fully trained install and service technician. You will assist an experienced HVAC installer with the installation of heaters, boilers, and furnaces in commercial and industrial buildings, gaining hands-on experience and comprehensive training in the trade.

Responsibilities

  • Assist a seasoned HVAC installer with the installation of heaters, boilers, and furnaces in commercial and industrial buildings.

  • Support the full installation process, including preparation, setup, and cleanup of work areas.

  • Handle basic installation tasks under supervision, such as positioning equipment, routing materials, and securing components.

  • Learn and follow standard procedures and safety practices for HVAC installation work.

  • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly as part of daily installation activities.

  • Ride with and support another technician on job sites, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are available and organized.

  • Communicate clearly with the lead installer regarding job progress, issues, and needs.

  • Participate in on-the-job training with the goal of progressing into an install and service technician role.

  • Maintain a clean, orderly work environment in the shop and on customer sites.

  • Follow company policies and guidelines while representing the organization professionally at all times.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience performing HVAC installations or closely related HVAC field work.

  • Experience working with heaters, boilers, or furnaces in any setting; commercial or industrial experience is a plus.

  • Foundational knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices.

  • Ability to assist with physical installation tasks, including lifting, positioning, and securing equipment.

  • Capability to use basic hand and power tools safely.

  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions from a lead HVAC installer.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the shop and job sites as required.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to developing a long-term career in HVAC.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A two-year HVAC degree from an area technical college, or

  • A one-year diploma or certificate in HVAC from an area technical college, or

  • A degree in Facilities Maintenance from an area technical college, or

  • 2+ years of recent field experience in HVAC without a degree.

  • Familiarity with commercial or industrial HVAC environments is a plus.

  • Experience or training related to facility maintenance or appliance technician work is beneficial.

  • Exposure to HVAC service work, including air conditioning systems, is an advantage.

  • Graduates or students from technical programs such as MATC, WCTC, GTC, or similar institutions are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

You will work in a small to medium-sized HVAC shop and travel to commercial and industrial job sites alongside another technician. The company supplies most of the tools required for installation work, and you will typically ride with a lead technician to job locations. The environment is hands-on and field-based, with regular use of HVAC equipment, hand tools, and power tools in active building settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sussex, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
