Job Title: Pressure Welder
Job Description
We are seeking 2 experienced pressure welder to join a dynamic team in manufacturing carbon steel pipe spools for the oil and gas industry. The role involves using blueprints and raw materials to create high-quality welds on mild steel pipe using MIG/Fluxcore techniques.
Responsibilities
Use an overhead crane to position raw pipe for welding.
Set up and operate welding machines according to specifications.
Perform MIG/Fluxcore welding on mild steel pipes.
Transport fabricated pipes to the rubber shop using a tolly.
Essential Skills
B level welder certification
Class A pressure ticket
5+ years of welding experience
Ability to work afternoon shifts
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Red Seal welder certification
Previous experience with pipe and pressure welding

Work Environment
The work environment is a new facility with over 100 employees and is continually expanding. Welders will work alongside fabricators and rubber liners, with dedicated workstations. The facility is adjacent to rubber, painting, and sandblasting shops. Shifts include mornings from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and afternoons from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, with this role specifically on afternoon shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surrey, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.00/hr.
