Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter who is motivated, reliable, and eager to expand their skills.
This role involves industrial painting, coating, and sandblasting in industrial environments.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and consistent attendance.
Responsibilities
Perform surface preparation using hand tools (sandpaper, scrapers, wire brushes).
Conduct surface preparation using power tools (grinders, orbital sanders).
Support blasters by pulling blast lines, filling blast pots, and fueling compressors.
Assist painters by pulling paint lines and moving/positioning work lights.
Perform brush‑and‑roll painting.
Complete masking tasks using tape, paper, and related materials.
Work under supervision with ongoing training and mentorship.
Must‑Have Qualifications
2+ years of industrial painting and/or sandblasting experience on industrial job sites.
Familiarity with industrial painting and sandblasting tools/equipment.
Ability to travel to the job site daily ( vehicle required ).
Strong reliability and consistent attendance.
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing , when required.
Ability to safely work at heights.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Additional industrial painting or sandblasting experience.
CSTS and Fall Protection certifications.
Other safety tickets or certifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surrey, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
