Looking for experience assembling: Motors, Gearboxes, Hydraulic Equipment, Heavy Equipment, etc.
Job Description
Join our team as an Industrial Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling heavy industrial equipment. You will work with blueprints, schematics, and drawings to bring together various parts and components, ensuring everything is built to specification. This position involves repetitive tasks and requires physical strength, as you may need to lift up to 50 pounds. However, overhead cranes and forklifts are available to assist when necessary. You will also receive training for hydronic testing.
Responsibilities
Assemble industrial equipment using blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
Perform repetitive tasks with the same tools, such as wrenches ranging from 12 inches to over 6 feet.
Complete up to 15 items a day, ensuring each is assembled correctly.
Participate in hydronic testing with provided training.
Log jobs in and out using the MRP system, requiring computer or ERP experience.
Use overhead cranes and forklifts to assist in lifting heavy objects when needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Experience with MRP systems for job logging.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
At least 1 year of experience in assembling heavy industrial equipment.
Experience with hydraulic systems and testing.
Proficiency in using overhead cranes and forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of hydraulics is an asset.
Possession of a forklift ticket is beneficial.
Willingness to work overtime when required.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and bright 80,000 sq. ft. facility, split between a machine shop and assembly area. The shop includes 3 paint booths, an enclosed welding shop, a lunchroom with 2 TVs, and a dedicated training room. You will work closely with a lead, supervisor, and a team of 12-30 machinists, among a total of 40 shop employees. Personal protective equipment is provided, and the standard shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with breaks included. Alternative shifts, such as 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM, may be available post-probation.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
