On-Road Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Technician)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment in the field. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, independence and the ability to respond to roadside service calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical, brake and hydraulic systems.
- Perform roadside service and emergency repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Operate and maintain a service truck.
- Accurately document work and communicate with dispatch.
- Follow all safety and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy duty preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with diagnostics software.
- Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred).
- Ability to work independently in various conditions.
