Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech , Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator in Sunnyvale, California
Description
The Technical Product Manager will lead critical workstreams within the Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator (ADCTA), a program designed to identify, evaluate, and integrate external decarbonization technologies into Amazon Devices & Services products to accelerate our path to meet 2040 net-zero carbon goals. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth, product management excellence, and the ability to work backwards from customer needs while navigating complex hardware integration challenges.
Key job responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
Own end-to-end delivery of accelerator program phases, from application launch through final Integration Assessment recommendation.
Lead cohort engagement activities including Technology Showcase events and working sessions with participating companies
Develop and deliver Integration Assessment recommendations that enable leadership decision-making to drive sustainability investment.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Lines, technical subject matter experts, Sustainability science teams, and external partners
Company Mentorship & Technical Guidance
Serve as primary Amazon mentor cohort companies within assigned focus areas
Guide companies through Amazon's product development processes, including PRFAQ methodology and Integration Assessment requirements
Conduct technical deep-dives to understand company technologies and identify optimal product integration pathways across Amazon's device portfolio
Drive result delivery between cohort companies and Amazon Product Line teams to refine integration proposals
Integration Assessment Development
Own the creation of Integration Assessment documents for cohort companies, synthesizing technical analysis, carbon impact modeling, cost/benefit analysis, and manufacturing feasibility.
Collaborate with DSS Science team to validate carbon reduction claims and quantify emission reduction potential.
Work with Hardware Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to assess technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness
Present Integration Assessment recommendations to Product Directors for investment decisions.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Build and maintain relationships with Product Line leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional partners to secure resources and alignment
Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery
Develop executive-ready documentation following Amazon's narrative-driven decision-making culture
Represent ADCTA in cross-organizational forums and drive awareness of decarbonization opportunities
Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Design and implement scalable frameworks for product technology evaluation, including AI-enhanced screening tools
Develop product metrics and mechanisms to track program success and cohort company progress
Contribute to program strategy and evolution based on learnings from each cohort cycle
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
