This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in building strong relationships with stakeholders, requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, and tracking project deadlines.

Description

We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Engineering Project Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Apple enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail on par with Apple’s high standards, coupled with a deep technical understanding of building scalable, transactional web applications, and the ability to translate business process needs to functional and technical requirements. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, and be a proactive solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. Finally, curiosity, outstanding project management best practices, attention to detail, and a proven track record of influencing and collaborating across the organization are key qualities required to excel in this role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

  • 2+ Experience in leading the engineering design and implementation of enterprise web applications.

  • 5+ years experience as a engineering project manager.

  • 5+ years experience successfully delivering Agile projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules.

  • High ownership, self sufficient, hands-on leader.

  • Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, documentation and presentation skills. Able to present confidently to senior leadership.

  • Proven talent for building strong, trust-based relationships with cross functional teams and tough stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical aspects of interactive web projects, internal systems and supporting processes.

  • Innovative and creative thinking capabilities with sharp troubleshooting skills.
