PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Position Overview
As theProduction Supervisor you will lead daily operations within your area, ensuring work is effectively distributed and aligned with operational and strategic goals. The role drives continuous improvement through continuous improvement initiatives and lean principles (PLS), while maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing employees through training, performance management, and ongoing support.
This is a temporary parental leave cover position, with an expected duration of approximately 12 months, based in Sundsvall.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations to achieve established production and performance goals,
Drive the development of operations in line with strategic objectives,
Lead and support employees’ PCI groups to ensure continuous improvement,
Identify, report, and act on quality, environmental, and safety deviations,
Actively contribute to improvement initiatives within the work area, including PCI activities,
Train and coach employees in the Permobil Lean System (PLS) principles,
Support employee development, including performance, growth, and salary review processes,
Conduct performance appraisals
Qualifications & Skills
Technical education from a college/university or equivalent,
Experience in a leadership role,
Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives,
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English,
Good proficiency in standard computer applications.
