Job Title: Electronic Assembly
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Electronic Assembler to join our team. This role requires assembling electronic and mechanical products, systems, or support structures with precision and care. You will work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to complete your tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and work from drawings, blueprints, schematics, work orders, and wiring diagrams.
Select components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
Assemble electronic/mechanical products using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
Clean parts with cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
Perform assembly operations under a microscope when required.
Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs or fixtures.
Use equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, leak detection systems, and soldering equipment.
Measure parts to determine tolerances with precision measuring instruments.
Connect component lead wires to printed circuits and other components.
Assemble and attach hardware like caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
Adjust materials to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
Perform intermediate tasks like potting, sanding, cleaning, and epoxy bonding.
Conduct go/no-go testing and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Create documentation for process improvements.
Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to plan or resolve production issues.
Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications.
Essential Skills
1 or more years of electronic PCB assembly experience
1 or more years soldering or wire harnessing experience
1 or more years of J Standard electronic assembly using a microscope
Proficiency in electronic assembly and soldering
Knowledge of quality standards and ESD-safe procedures
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 to 2 years of soldering experience (surface mount, through-hole)
1 to 2 years of microscopic assembly experience
Experience with SMT and through-hole electronic components
Strong communication skills and understanding of verbal and written instructions
Experience in schematic reading and wire harnessing

Work Environment
You will be working in a collaborative space with around five colleagues, focusing on precision tasks like soldering and wiring under a microscope. The facility boasts a clean, climate-controlled environment with departments spanning Warehouse, Assembly, Engineering, Production, and Fabrication. The organizational structure supports a cohesive work atmosphere with Human Resources accessible at the local level.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunbury, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00/hr.
