As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with calm, professional communication. You will respond to reports, document observations, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate medical staff and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help to enforce posted rules related to restricted areas.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate significant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
