3^rd^ Shift -- Sunday night thru Friday morning - 8p-4a

SUMMARY:

Operates cone, disk, or nozzle type electrostatic painting equipment to spray negatively charged paint particles on to positively charged work pieces by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:

Employees must be able to satisfactorily perform all duties and responsibilities referenced in the work instructions for this position.

Inspect part quality from previous operation. Moves switches and dials to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment. Ensures the proper grounding of each part prior to painting.

Turns valves and observes gauges to set pressure and to control flow of paint to each spray and to correct flaws in coating.

Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads and hoses.

Hand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position has no direct reports or Supervisory responsibilities.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Employees are required to wear a respirator, complete a medical questionnaire and pass a fit testing.

It is the employees responsibility to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
