ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Sumter, South Carolina
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Sumter, SC
Pay Range: $52000 - $65000
Shift: 12-hour 2-2-3 pattern (Panama) shift 6:45 pm -7:00 am, including every other weekend
What's the Job?
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and safety standards.
What's Needed?
3 plus years of industrial maintenance experience
AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
