Registered / Certified Behavior Technician (School Setting)

Contract Length: 20 Weeks
Schedule: Weekdays | 32.5 hours per week

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Registered or Certified Behavior Technicians to support students in a school-based setting. In this role, you will help facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, working collaboratively with school professionals and behavioral specialists to support learning goals, behavioral objectives, and implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to skill development, behavior improvement, and overall student success within the educational environment.
Responsibilities
Provide behavioral support aligned with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Assist students with special needs in classroom and educational settings
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and behavior specialists
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and reinforcement systems
Support progress toward academic, social, and behavioral goals
Maintain professionalism and comply with all applicable standards of practice
Minimum Requirements
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable)
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of relevant experience preferred (two years preferred but not required)
Associate degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (as required by contract/state)
Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
