Position Summary
The Equipment Operator I is responsible for receiving, storing, recycling, shipping, and transporting warehouse goods and products. This role operates material-handling equipment and supports warehouse operations to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all duties of Material Handler B, as required.
Spend 60% or more of working time performing one or more of the following tasks:
- Operate motorized warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, clamps, cherry pickers, and motorized pallet jacks (required certifications must be maintained).
- Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track and manage inventory and product movement.
- Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials, or equipment as needed.
- Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials according to customer specifications.
Ensure accurate handling and movement of products within the warehouse.
Ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sufficient education to read, comprehend, and act on verbal and written instructions.
High school diploma or GED required; six months of related experience preferred.
