Position Summary

The Equipment Operator I is responsible for receiving, storing, recycling, shipping, and transporting warehouse goods and products. This role operates material-handling equipment and supports warehouse operations to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of Material Handler B, as required.

  • Spend 60% or more of working time performing one or more of the following tasks:

    • Operate motorized warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, clamps, cherry pickers, and motorized pallet jacks (required certifications must be maintained).
    • Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track and manage inventory and product movement.
    • Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials, or equipment as needed.
    • Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure accurate handling and movement of products within the warehouse.

  • Ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Sufficient education to read, comprehend, and act on verbal and written instructions.

  • High school diploma or GED required; six months of related experience preferred.
