Electrical Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead a medical office fit-out project in Nexton, off North Creek Drive. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day electrical installation activities for a retail-style medical office buildout. The successful candidate will have strong field leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret plans, and the capability to actively participate in installations while supervising a small crew.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and work directly from electrical plans and specifications.
Plan installation methods and sequencing to ensure efficient execution of work.
Perform electrical installation work alongside the crew, embracing a hands-on foreman role.
Supervise and direct two electricians during daily tasks.
Coordinate with a higher-level superintendent for guidance and project oversight.
Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with code.
Assist with troubleshooting, installation challenges, and field problem-solving.
Maintain productivity, workmanship standards, and schedule commitments.
Essential Skills
Electrical foreman experience or equivalent leadership experience in the field.
Strong ability to read and understand commercial electrical plans.
Hands-on experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and circuitry.
Comfortable with bending and installing pipe (EMT and similar).
Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems.
Ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively with a small crew.

Work Environment
This role is based in Nexton, off North Creek Drive, working on a commercial/retail-style medical office building. The position requires working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
