Job Description:
1.\tIt is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of the crane, complying with the standards and procedures established for this process, and understanding in its use and handling the scope, reduction, restriction and lifting capacity of the load from 200 to 300 tons, as is the actual height under the hook
2.\tObserves load hook up and determines safety of load.
3.\tManipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
4.\tCleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
5.\tInspects crane for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of the defects or malfunctions.
6.\tLoads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
7.\tMay assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
8.\tPerforms minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
9.\tSafely operate crane, hoist mechanism, tools and materials.
10.\tAssists in assembly and disassembly of cranes.
11.\tPlans and coordinates crane movement & set-up.
12.\tMust be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules.
13.\tAdheres to all safety procedures.
14.\tTypically requires a minimum of 48 months industrial construction experience.
