Job Description
Grace is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our Lake Charles team!
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will facilitate the maintenance work management process and will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to deliver safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency while engaging the team to ensure that tasks are completed on time, on scope, and on budget.
The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for working overtime, during off hours to meet the needs of the team.
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler works a flexible schedule based on needs.
Responsibilities
Ensure Safety of the team. Nothing is more important!
Work overtime during off hours to meet the needs of the team
Collaborate with operations to manage and prioritize work order backlogs
Facilitate maintenance work management process meeting cadence for all planning functions
Plan and develop work packages for tasks
Conduct field walks for tasks
Coordinate material list preparations with kitting coordinator
Schedule planned jobs awaiting execution
Develop and manage Gantt charts using Prometheus and Microsoft Project
Facilitate bidding process for contractor work at site, non-stock materials and parts, and equipment rentals
Update maintenance plans and bill of materials in SAP
Complete work cycles and goods receipts
Track and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for areas of responsibility
Facilitate planning and outage playbook to meet and exceed departmental targets and goals
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or Equivalent
Previous planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing plant environment
Previous experience facilitating maintenance work management processes (MWMP) for routine maintenance and outages
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Prometheus, SAP, and Ariba
Experience facilitating meetings using public speaking skills
Experience fostering communication and collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team
Experience, ability and willingness to work overtime, during off hours to meet the needs of the team
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in engineering, or technical field OR
Bachelor's degree in a engineering or a technical field
NCCER, CMRP, or PMP Certification
Previous experience in a maintenance craft

Physical Requirements and Environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials
Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
