Strategic Storage Partners Maintenance Planner Scheduler in Sulphur, Louisiana
Assess work to be performed to determine/decide resource required (material, labor, equipment, etc.) to complete work order. These assessments may often require a physical field assessment to validate description section of a work order is representative of the task to be completed and all required parts are identified. Create weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate yearly outages. Schedule and coordinate weekly planning meetings with sight personnel. Apply labor estimates to work orders in accordance with engineered maintenance standards or other acceptable criteria. Review applicable Material Management System reports and provide interface between property and maintenance regarding parts and materials. Conduct independent review of work order reports and maintain accurate work order backlog. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager, Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors, and Planning Supervisor to accurately plan and schedule work weekly. Coordinate and communicate daily with all maintenance supervisors to ensure that all mechanical and electrical planned work is correct and accurate. Adjust as needed to work orders as scope changes and/or additional materials are needed. Assist in preparing plans and ordering materials for nonscheduled and emergency work, as required. Initiate and maintain Purchase Request (PR?s) for Materials, Services and Equipment needed to perform scheduled/planned work. Confer with Buyer on some details with Purchase Request. Write Credit Card Request and Purchase request, and coordinate with Vendors on the material needed for job. Participate in and support numerous company programs including Behavioral Safety, Safety Monitor, and Preliminary Hazardous Review programs. Record and report on multiple requirements such as Fuel Consumption, mileage used on support vehicles, GSA vehicle reports other duties as assigned. Ensure proper and timely preparation of all required work-related documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School diploma and 4 years experience working in maintenance, operations or scheduling in the petrochemical industry. Proficiency in MS Office typing, filing, organization, time management, communications, leadership and motivation. Prefer candidate with experience in SAP.
