Minimum Qualifications

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Assists Electrician Specialist Leader in the operation, maintenance and repair of 600 horsepower Continental Electric motors, 300 horsepower Weg electric motor, 19,000 to 50,000 gallons per minute vertical water pumps, 2400 high voltage 3 phase electrical systems, and electrical transmitters with water flow recording charts inside 4 water pumping facilities and at 2 strategic locations on the canal system .
I nstalls electrical equipment such as; motors, starters , relays panel boxes, breakers, switches and coils for single and 3 phase systems.
Be available on a 24 hour on call basis to diagnose and correct emergency situations of interrupted water flow to customers. Monitor, analyze and repair Supervi sory Control and Data Acquisitions (SCADA) computer and emergency paging system .
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational - up to 24 months
Work Schedule:Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
