Description
Responsibilities
Provide daily administration and support for server and infrastructure environments, ensuring availability, performance, security, and recoverability.
Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, RDS, and file/print services.
Lead server, virtualization, and infrastructure upgrades, including server refreshes and cloud or hybrid integrations.
Monitor systems and infrastructure, troubleshoot complex Tier 2/3 issues, and act as an escalation point.
Manage VMware environments (ESXi, HA, DRS, clustering, snapshots, server cloning).
Oversee Microsoft SQL Server environments, including backups, patching, and performance tuning.
Coordinate backups, disaster recovery planning, and system recovery efforts.
Recommend and implement improvements to system and network configurations.
Work with vendors and internal teams on system implementations and issue resolution.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of systems or infrastructure administration experience (healthcare experience preferred).
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Server technologies (Windows Server 2012R2–2019, SQL Server, Exchange, IIS, RDS).
Office 365 administration experience (SharePoint/OneDrive a plus).
Patch management and PowerShell scripting experience.
Working knowledge of networking (firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs).
Basic cybersecurity and vulnerability management knowledge (Sophos experience a plus).
Experience with VoIP PBX systems preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and vendor management skills.
