ManpowerGroup Control Systems Engineer PlantPAX in Sugar Land, Texas
Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Control Systems Engineer PlantPAX to join their team. As a Control Systems Engineer PlantPAX, you will be part of the engineering department supporting project execution and system integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Control Systems Engineer PlantPAX
Location: Sugarland, Texas
Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE plus bonuses, benefits, etc.
What's the Job?
Develop DCS/PLC/HMI programming for control systems in industrial environments
Participate in the development of logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives
Review and assist in the design of control panels, wiring diagrams, and associated electrical and instrumentation packages
Conduct factory acceptance testing and support field start-up and commissioning activities
Provide training and after-hours support to clients and internal teams as needed
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of relevant work experience in control systems engineering
Proficiency programming PLCs (preferably Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and DCS (DeltaV)
Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC
Experience with control panel wiring, P&ID’s, and field wiring diagrams
