Akima Shipboard Integrated Voice Network PBX Project Manager in Suffolk, Virginia
ASE, an Akima company, is looking for a Shipboard Integrated Voice Network PBX Project Manager to managing a team of field engineers in US NAVY shipboard IC telephone systems and its interfaces.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement IVN system onboard US Navy ships.
Provide testing, inspection, field changes, repairs and technical support for IC telephony systems.
Coordinate logistics, scheduling , material shipments, and travel arrangements for IC teams.
Provide weekly reports and as required reports on all personnel and technical requirements.
Qualifications
Active DOD Secret clearance.
10 or more years of experience in Shipboard Telephone Voice Networked systems.
Maintain configuration control and track project government furnished equipment.
Ability to travel 30% to CONUS and OCONUS areas when required.
Strong writing, editing and communications skills.
Strong knowledge on IVN systems to include system operations, troubleshooting, end to end performance and system interfaces.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Previous management experience.
