ManpowerGroup Logistics Specialist in Suffolk, Virginia
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting efficient delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Location: Suffolk, VA
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: 10:30am to close (18:30/19:00), Monday through Saturday with one day off per week
What's the Job?
Assist customers and business partners via telephone and email to ensure smooth logistics operations
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Monitor delivery routes and performance of delivery teams to ensure timely service
Prepare documentation such as PODs and manifests for upcoming routes
Verify and process delivery changes, cancellations, and returns efficiently
What's Needed?
At least 1 year of logistics experience, with routing experience preferred
General knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics processes
Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
Ability to interpret instructions and apply common sense to carry out tasks
