V2X Master Electrician & Foreman in Subic, Philippines
Overview
This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP
Under the supervision of the Electrical Supervisor, the Master Electrician/Foreman is responsible for supervising, performing, and ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role provides technical leadership, ensures compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), and supports electrical operations across facility or project sites. The Master Electrician may also sign off on electrical plans, permits, and work completion as required by law.
Responsibilities

Leading all the electricians to Install, maintain, and repair/troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to guarantee safe and dependable operation.
Leading all the electricians to perform routine evaluations, inspections of electrical systems and oversee maintenance timelines.
Leading all the electricians in conducting preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to reduce downtime.
Leading all the electricians to conduct inspections and monitoring programs for equipment; establishes and applies optimal maintenance practices to enhance the overall uptime of electrical & mechanical equipment. Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Leading all the electricians for Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify electrical issues and carry out routine maintenance, which includes testing and replacing faulty components. Resolving electrical problems and implementing solutions to correct issues. Assess major system failures and equipment malfunctions and execute repairs and maintenance on electrical devices.Reviewing finished work and diagnosing electrical problems. Expertise in different electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems, low voltage systems, and extra low voltage systems.
Moves extensively throughout the facility during the shift to assit equipment and team members as required.
Leading all the electricians to regularly assess existing maintenance, operational, and reliability strategies, and enacts modifications to improve efficiency in maximizing value-driven performance.
Leading all the electricians to ensure the upkeep of all electrical system building infrastructure and compliance documentation, which includes current electrical system building drawings and single line diagrams, along with the necessary documentation required to uphold regulatory compliance with Federal, State, or Local laws.
Leading all the electricians to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards, while offering training and guidance to personnel. It is essential to guarantee that all operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies. This includes performing regular safety inspections, recognizing potential hazards, establishing safety procedures, and providing staff training.
Participate in technical training for electrical maintenance staff, encompassing instruction on safe work practices and adherence to Global Electrical Safe Work Standards (GESWS).
Guides, instructs, and assists maintenance team members as required to enhance individual skills and broaden team competencies.
Ensure that the CFWA (Critical Facility Work Authorization), PTW (Permit to Work), MOS (Method of Statement), HIRAC (Hazards Identification, Risk Assessment and Control) is well understood process among the building staff, engineers, tenants, and contractors engaged in work on the critical infrastructure of the building.
Engage with fellow technical staff members and contractors to guarantee effective coordination of electrical tasks. Collaborating with maintenance personnel to guarantee seamless and effective facility operations.
Independently and collaboratively completing electrical maintenance projects and tasks is essential. The capacity to work both independently and as part of a team is vital for this position.
Leading all the electricians to illustrate the correct application and maintenance of tools and instruments, providing practical instruction in fundamental upkeep, safety measures, and troubleshooting techniques, suggesting pertinent external engineering courses for enrollment, and fostering a general standard of professionalism in conduct and appearance.
Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.
Leading all the electricians for Safety and Risk Management Compliance: It is essential to ensure that all operations adhere to safety regulations and company policie s. This includes performing regular safety inspections, recognizing potential hazards, establishing safety procedures, and participating in training for electrical staff.
Leading all electricians to ensure meticulous documentation of electrical systems, operational facilities, and maintenance activities, including work orders, time sheets, and equipment maintenance logs. Accurately record maintenance activities and inspections of equipment.
Staying Updated: Remain informed about developments, innovations, and modifications in electrical codes and regulations.
Required to track electrical maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and technical manual, e.g. electrical panels, transformers, diesel generator testing and serviced.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a valid license as a Registered Master Electrician (RME).
TESDA Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC-II qualifications
At minimum, college level (up to 3 years) in: Bachelor of Industrial Technology – Major in Electrical Technology or Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Preferred but not required BOSH
Possess knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or Fire Safety qualifications
Must be Filipino Citizen
A valid Driver's license is required for all Labor Categories in the Philippines
Experience:
Lead and supervise electricians and electrical technicians in daily tasks
Candidates are essential to possess appropriate knowledge and experience in Facilities Operation and Maintenance Management.
A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Electrical Systems and Facilities, whether locally or internationally.
Knowledge & Experience in MEP, & HVAC systems is an advantage
Having a strong background in electrical systems and the operation, maintenance, & troubleshooting of facilities, including various electrical equipment such as distribution transformers, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), low voltage and extra low voltage main distribution boards (MDB), sub-main distribution boards (SMDB), final distribution boards (FDBs), electrical control panels, cables/wirings, lighting systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), relays, contactors, circuit breakers (including VCB, MCCB, MCB, RCB, and RCBO), isolators, lightning arresters, earthing or grounding systems, motors, pumps, FDAS, & Door Access Controls is essential. It is crucial to recognize that having knowledge and experience with Annual Electrical Shutdown Activities (including high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage electrical systems), as well as PTW, MOS, HIRAC, & LOTO procedures, is considered valuable.
Having experience in overseeing the electrical systems and facilities of a shipyard, drydock, or critical environment.
Possessing expertise in Energy Management and Sustainability initiatives is an advantage.
Outstanding proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Working Conditions:
Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting.
