V2X HVAC-R Technician in Subic, Philippines
Overview
This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP
The HVAC‑R Technician oversees the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of HVAC and refrigeration systems within the facility or project site. The role is responsible for ensuring work quality, maintaining safety compliance, coordinating schedules, and supporting the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
Responsibilities

+ + Install, maintain, and repair HVAC‑R systems (split‑type, package, centralized, chillers, refrigeration containers)
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Diagnose, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
Charge, recover, and handle refrigerants properly
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
Complete maintenance reports and service documentation through the Work Order and Preventive Maintenance V2X process
Follow safety, OSH, and environmental regulations
Respond to emergency and on‑call service requirements
KPI’s / Performance Metrics:
High client/stakeholder satisfaction score.
Consistent and efficient communication within V2X organization internally, and with the client/stakeholders.
Continuous improvement in the following:
Employee morale and contentment
Client satisfaction.
Initiatives for improvements and cost savings for both the client/stakeholders and V2X.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational or technical courses in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related field
Possess a valid PH Driver’s License (Code B or B1)
Must be a Filipino Citizen.
Education:
Required Transport Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Servicing NC-II Certificate.
Required to possess relevant HVAC or Refrigeration certification and possess experience with diverse HVAC & Refrigeration equipment and systems.
Required to possess TESDA NCII (DOMRAC)
Preferred BOSH Certified.
Experience:
Must possess appropriate knowledge and experience in Facilities Operation and Maintenance Management.
A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in HVAC/REF Systems and Facilities, installation, operation, and maintenance, repair, troubleshooting whether locally or internationally.
Required knowledge & Experience in HVAC/REF systems.
Having a strong background in HVAC/Refrigeration systems and the operation and maintenance of facilities, including various HVAC/Refrigeration equipment such as Packaged Air Conditioning Unit (PACU), Dehumidifiers, Refrigerated Cold Storage Containers, Ceiling Cassette Air Conditioning (CCAC), Floor Standing Air Conditioning units, Split Type Air conditioning unit, Fan Coil Units (FCU), Air Compressor, Air-conditioning compressors, Air Conditioning Condenser Fans/Blowers, Extract/Exhaust Fans systems & etc. & LOTO procedures, is considered a valuable advantage.

Insulation Resistance Testing (IR), Power Analyzer Recording, Grounding Testing, Transformer, Turns Ratio Test (TTR), Winding Resistance Test (WRT), Hi-Potential (HIPOT) Test, Power Factor Test (PFT), Relays Pick Up Test, & Thermal Scanning Inspection/Testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload
Ability to provide great customer service under stressful conditions
Working Condit ions:
Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity
Adjustable to changing weather and environmental conditions
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
