FII USA INC. SMT PROCESS ENGINEER in STURTEVANT, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: SMT PROCESS ENGINEER sought in Mount Pleasant, WI. Participate in the design, manufacturing, validation and control of SMT tooling, including stencils, board holders, oven reflow pallets, manual assembly tooling ensuring dimensional accuracy and mechanical reliability. Debug Solder Paste Printer and SPI programs, calibrate SPI equipment to ensure accurate solder paste volume, height, and alignment control across multiple product types. Design and validate board profile and oven reflow recipes to guarantee optimal soldering quality and process repeatability, ensuring thermal balance, minimal component stress, and consistent solder joint formation. Develop, optimize, and maintain AO inspection programs align with IPC-A-610 standards and product-specific to ensure high detention accuracy for solder defects, component misplacements, wrong components and polarity issues, minimizing repair costs and contributing to scrap prevention. Debug, and optimize X-Ray inspection programs to detect hidden solder joint defects (e.g., shots and voids), ensuring product reliability and compliance with manufacturing standards. Analyze production data and identify process bottlenecks to propose and execute improvement actions in layout, workflow, and equipment utilization, reducing cycle time. Education Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering or its academic equivalent. Experience Required: 24 months experience on job offered, or 24 months experience on PCBA Process Engineer.
