BRP US INC Senior Industrial Engineer in STURTEVANT, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Industrial Engineer, BRP US Inc., Sturtevant, WI: Design efficient systems that integrate workers, information, machines, and materials. Ensure the company complies with all industry standards for safety while meeting design standards and guidelines. Layout and process plan to achieve required TAKT time for mixed model production. Perform material flow analysis, layout design, and planning for assembly, fabrication, and machining layouts. Conduct time studies for mixed model production lines. Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve manufacturing challenges. Conceive, design, test, and develop innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives. Support lean daily management by participating in operations meetings, conducting Gemba observations, supporting idea generation and problem solving on the shop floor, and driving 6S activities. Under general supervision, facilitate lean events such as line balancing, VSM, 3P, One-piece flow and leading teams through implementation and sustainment of improvements. Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness that are in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assure smooth introduction for new products in the assembly line improving the efficiency and high-quality standard. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\'s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of industrial engineering work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master\'s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of industrial engineering work experience. Employer also requires 3 years in all of the following: Applying lean manufacturing principles; Utilizing analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing; Designing 2D/3D layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software; Managing ERP systems including SAP or similar; and Leading Value Stream transformation and shop floor projects.
