JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary As a Sales Associate, they will act as the primary point of contact for retail or wholesale customers and ensure sales by determining customers\' needs, accessing the POS system to assist in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience. As a Parts Delivery Driver, the primary functions of this position are to establish and maintain good relations with NAPA customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. This person must also check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer. The delivery driver must account for cash on COD (Collect on Delivery) orders. Responsibilities Deliver parts / Return parts Working retail hours is required, with some weekends Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times, with the ability to effectively listen and speak one-on-one Participates in training as needed and required During daily interaction with customers, provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquiries Completes service tickets and turns them in for entry daily Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance Maintains customer satisfaction by serving all customers, securing the right part, and resolving customer issues Maintains POS computer abilities by learning and applying how to use the catalog and system, practicing asset security/loss prevention controls, and understanding the store\'s pricing methods Provides sales support functions by processing salespersons\' stock orders, reporting overages/shortages/damaged merchandise, and ensuring the good appearance of the store and displays Requirement Knowledge of the POS system is preferred but not required Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills, and the ability to receive and process cash, checks, and charge/credit payments, and process merchandise exchanges Maintain sales records and sort data for recordkeeping Mechanical knowledge, or previous automotive or truck parts experience, preferred but not required Stay current with sales prices and restocking as required Recognize and monitor security issues Arrange and display merchandise, stock parts, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the showroom floor Requires the use of both hands and the ability to work on feet (stand and walk) for the entire assigned work shift Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and able to reach upper shelves (ten feet) with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary, and capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 70 pounds Lift other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc. Able to meet DOT Physical requirements as a driver Must maintain a WI Driver\'s License with an acceptable record May be required to follow opening and closing procedures Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor Job Type Full-time Benefits 401k w/matching Profit Sharing Dental Insurance Employee Discount Health Insurance Paid time off Vision Receive and fill telephone orders for parts. Fill customer orders from stock, and place orders when requested items are out of stock. Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices. Place new merchandise on display. Manage shipments by researching shipping methods or costs and tracking packages. Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available. Maintain and clean work and inventory areas. Examine returned parts for defects, and e change defective parts or refund money. Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment. Pick up and deliver parts. Mark and store parts in stockrooms, according to prearranged systems. Locate and label parts, and maintain inventory of stock. Assist customers, such as responding to customer complaints and updating them about back-ordered parts. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers\' descriptions of malfunctions.
