ISLAND FEVER RUM BAR & GRILL Cooks in STURGEON BAY, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Island Fever LLC is looking to fill 4 positions for Cooks in Jacksonport, WI. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position for employment from April 1, 2026-December 31, 2026. Duties include: Prepare and cook dishes as per the restaurant\'s established menu items and daily specials. Assist in planning and preparation of the established menu and daily specials. Assure supplies are kept stocked and up to date and prepare re-orders as necessary. Assess stock to assure prep staff have fresh ingredients at all times. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes. Bake, grill, or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Boil and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Arrange and garnish food on serving dishes. Assure work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes are clean and sanitized at all times. Cook, handle, and store food or ingredients. Make recommendations for special menu items and/or for modifications of existing menu items. On the job training will be provided by the employer. There are no minimum requirements for the position. Terms & Conditions of Employment: \$16.43/hr, at least 35 hrs/week. Sunday through Saturday, 11:00 am 7:00 pm. Daily schedule may vary. Overtime pay is \$24.65/hr. Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Daily transportation to the place of employment will be provided. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide pay for the worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 per day without receipts or \$68/day with documentation of actual expenses. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment. Tools, equipment and supplies: The Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due: The pay period is every two weeks; The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law; The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. Subsidized housing is available to the worker at a cost of \$58 per week. Cost of housing will be deducted from the workers\' paycheck.
