Cleveland Clinic Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician II in Stuart, Florida

As a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will perform maintenance including, but not limited to, preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures and systems throughout Martin North Hospital. You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and as an initial resource for maintenance related questions and concerns as well as assist department leaders with day-to-day operations. It will be your goal to ensure a safe, functional and comfortable environment for patients, families and caregivers. Properly maintained equipment and building systems reduce delays in care, prevent safety risks and support a positive patient experience.

A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 6:30AM - 3:00PM, with rotating on-call requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Be assigned as a lead go-to contact within certain projects across the enterprise.
Ensure that policies and procedures are communicated and upheld by staff.
Monitor department activities and provide coaching and feedback to team members when appropriate.
Perform routine maintenance repair work.
Perform utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Document and maintain records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
Assist co-workers with maintenance-related questions, comments and concerns in a Subject Matter Expert capacity.
Possibly be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
Four years of work experience in general electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical repair, machinery/millwright or HVAC
OR completion of a formal training program in building repair to include general electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, maintenance repair, machinery/millwright or HVAC and two years of work experience
Physical Requirements:

Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $25.13
Maximum hourly: $38.33
