Description
Robert Half is working with an accounting/back-office transformation firm. They help growing companies move beyond QuickBooks and inefficient processes by redesigning their accounting operations using proprietary AI tools and hands-on expertise.
This is a high-impact, early-stage role with direct exposure to leadership and meaningful growth opportunity.
The Accounting Solutions role will work directly with clients to assess accounting processes, redesign workflows, and implement AI-enabled solutions. This is a client-facing advisory role focused on transformation—not traditional bookkeeping or routine close work.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose client accounting processes
Redesign workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
Support implementation of AI-enabled accounting solutions
Lead portions of client transformation projects
Test and refine internal AI tools
Communicate recommendations clearly to clients and leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3–5 years of experience in public accounting (audit preferred) or strong corporate accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, accrual accounting, month-end close, internal controls, and inventory costing
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Interest in AI and process automation
Ability to work onsite, four days per week
Preferred:
CPA (active or exams passed)
Experience with mid-market accounting systems
System implementation experience
Strong Excel and analytical skills
