Production Associate III Job Description
Location: Stoughton, WI
Pay: $25-30/hr
Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm
Duration: 3 month assignment with possible extension
Job Summary:
The Production Associate III operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements, ensuring safety within a manufacturing environment. May instruct or coach others as part of daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Stop work and promptly report any major injury hazards.
Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Promote interdependence and look out for team members.
Correct hazards within personal control and capabilities.
Recognize and minimize environmental impacts from work.
Participate in all required HSE training.
Quality:
Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (e.g. SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
Perform quality inspections and identify/control non-conforming material.
Delivery:
Operate equipment independently to manufacture and assemble products to customer expectations.
Instruct and coach others as an informal resource for less experienced team members.
Achieve production goals and maintain required cycle time or engineering standards.
Keep work area clean and orderly, performing housekeeping and planned operator care/maintenance tasks.
Remain flexible and perform other duties as needed to meet production goals.
Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain/identify equipment requiring repair.
Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with the team and all support groups.
Complete training and personal development aligned with business needs.
Participate actively in process, quality, and material flow improvements and support employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Welding Experience (TIG and MIG)
Machining Skills: Manual lathe, milling machine, CNC milling machine experience
Additional Details:
General laborer role focusing on welding and machining projects.
