Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Production Machine Operators to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading sheet metal to and from machines such as punch, hydraulic, and brake presses. Your role will also include working from blueprints and using precise measuring tools like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
Load and unload sheet metal to and from machines including punch, hydraulic, and brake presses.
Work from blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers for precision.
Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
Set up machines and handle tooling for punch, hydraulic, and brake presses.
Edit machine programs and perform preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Experience with measuring tools: tape measure, micrometer, caliper.
1 year of experience operating machines in metal manufacturing.
Familiarity with press brakes, punch presses, and machine setup.
Knowledge of CNC and fabrication processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Machine Operators require skills in using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
Machine Techs should have experience running machines such as brake, punch, hydraulic press, laser, turret, and CNC, with a preference for setup experience.

Work Environment
Work in a very large facility, often in pairs with a Machine Operator and Tech. The environment can be hot and dirty in the summer. Shifts include 1st shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm (Mon-Th), 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am (Mon-Th), Weekend 1st shift from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm (Fri-Sun), and Weekend 2nd shift from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am (Fri-Sun).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.
